These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Socius Trades platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are entered into between ecom-ian ("we", "us", "our", "the Company"), a simplified joint-stock company, and you ("User", "you", "your"), any natural or legal person accessing or using the Socius Trades platform ("the Platform").
Socius Trades is a trading analytics and performance tracking platform. It provides tools for analyzing trading history, visualizing portfolio statistics, generating AI-powered insights, and connecting to third-party brokerage accounts via authorized API integrations.
Socius Trades is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution. We do not execute trades, hold funds, manage portfolios, or provide investment advice. All trading activity occurs exclusively through your connected brokerage account(s), subject to the terms of those brokers.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. Accounts created on behalf of a legal entity require authorization from that entity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@sociustrades.com of any unauthorized access or suspected breach of your account.
We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced account security.
When you connect a brokerage account to Socius Trades via OAuth or API key, you authorize us to access your account data — including balances, positions, trade history, and performance data — exclusively for analytics and display purposes within the Platform.
We access your broker account in read-only mode. We cannot place orders, transfer funds, or take any action that modifies your brokerage account. Your broker credentials (username/password) are never stored by Socius Trades.
You may disconnect any broker integration at any time from the "Connect Broker" page. Upon disconnection, associated access tokens are immediately and permanently deleted.
Socius Trades offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Essential, Pro, Ultimate). Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method at the selected interval.
Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes where required. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
Plan upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a prorated basis. Plan downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Under European Union consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)), if you are an EU or EEA resident subscribing to a paid plan, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription, without providing any reason.
To exercise this right, contact us at support@sociustrades.com before the 14-day period expires. A full refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt.
Waiver upon immediate access: by checking the consent box during checkout and requesting immediate access to the service, you acknowledge that by activating the service before the end of the 14-day period, you lose your right of withdrawal in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m). This acknowledgement is recorded at the time of subscription.
If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription within the first 14 days of your first paid plan activation, you may request a full refund by contacting support@sociustrades.com. Refunds are not available for subsequent billing periods or after the 14-day guarantee window.
All content on the Platform — including analytics, statistics, AI-generated insights, performance reports, and data visualizations — is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
Socius Trades does not recommend, endorse, or suggest any specific trade, instrument, broker, or investment strategy. You should consult a qualified and regulated financial professional before making any investment decisions. You trade at your own risk.

While we strive to display accurate and up-to-date data, Socius Trades does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information displayed on the Platform. Market data is sourced from third-party providers (including OANDA) and may be subject to delays or errors beyond our control.
All content, design, code, trademarks, and branding on the Platform are the exclusive property of ecom-ian and are protected by French and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Your own trading data remains your property. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to deliver the service to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ecom-ian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to trading losses, loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions, arising from your use or inability to use the Platform.
Our total cumulative liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Socius Trades in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice, if you materially breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the Platform, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the retention schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saint-Etienne, France, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence grant you the right to bring proceedings before local courts.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your data, and to opt out of any sale of your personal information.
